ATLAS Statistics, GIS, and Survey Research Support provides statistics and GIS expertise and an open computer lab where instructors, students, and staff can get help from ATLAS consultants and work with our software.
Our open lab is located in G8 Foreign Languages Building and our consulting staff offices are located in 2045 Lincoln Hall.

Spring 2016 Walk-in Consulting and Open Lab Hours
- Monday: 10am-4pm
- Tuesday: 10am-4pm
- Wednesday: 10am-4pm
- Thursday: 10am-4pm
- Friday: 10am-1:45pm
Our lab is occasionally closed for specific events during the semester. Any lab closures will be posted at the lab door. Should you have any questions or wish to schedule an appointment, please contact ATLAS Consulting. You may also submit a request for ATLAS Statistical/GIS support by using this link.
During the major academic calendar holidays (Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Vacation), as well as the Summer 1 term, our lab at G8 Foreign Languages Building does not have walk-in hours. Instead, we are available for consulting through appointment only. Appointments can be made through our appointment request form.
Unfortunately this 2016 Spring Break we are not offering consulting through appointment.
Up to 4 hours of Statistics/GIS consultation is available each semester, at no charge, to instructors, staff, and students in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. For other members of the University of Illinois community, consultation is available for a fee of $60 per hour. Students may apply for a lower rate. There is no charge for the initial consultation to determine if ATLAS can assist you.
Please note: ATLAS will not perform analyses required for coursework or thesis research.
