- Census Data Demographic Products: When and How to Use Them - 2010 Census (100% counts, small areas), population estimates (annual estimates, governmental units, control totals)
- Data Access Basics - Data requirements (geographic area, subject/data item, time frame)
- Census Geography: "Building Blocks" for Local Areas
- Data Formats & Availability - Sample area profiles, specialized tabulations, comparative examples
- Data Search Techniques - Census.gov, "American Factfinder", examples/exercises
- Questions & Discussion

1 pm - 3 pm: Census - Advanced Topics, Q&A Session II
- Studying smaller geographic levels with Census 2010 information and incorporating data from the American Community Survey into a single analysis. Some topics may include congressional redistricting, estimating eligible voters, and education and poverty levels.
