Computer Classrooms

Our computer classrooms include a computer and presentation equipment for the instructor as well computers for students. If you do not need student computers, please check for a CITES ITS classroom from FMS.

If you have a reservations in our rooms, be sure to request the software you need, even if what you want was there last semester. Classrooms can be reserved for entire semesters or on an as needed basis. Requests can be placed for both current and future terms. For future terms we have "priority deadlines." Meeting them gives you the best chance of getting your first choice in meeting time/day.

Reserve an ATLAS computer classroom

Instructor Station

Each instructor station includes an LCD projector connected to a Windows computer and region-free DVD player along with inputs for laptops and auxiliary Audio / Video (yellow, red & white composite cables). Some rooms have wired Ethernet for laptops, others wireless. Each room also has either an overhead transparency projector (or a comparable display method).

Note: We have removed VCRs from all of our student computer classrooms over the summer. Effective Summer 2, 2009, you should not expect a VCR in any ATLAS computer classroom. Details regarding the VCR removal from ATLAS classrooms.

Student Computer Classrooms

30-40 Windows computers, headphones, a microphone, and any software that has been requested.
